Glace Rider

I have tried the  Stealthshoe and am surprisingly happy with its performance.

Like all farriers I am little apprehensive about any new shoe. We are
bombarded with new and improved devices every year.

Instead of throwing this shoe to the side and waiting to see how it performs I
have decided to try it and put it to the test.

I am located in central Pa., where we have mountains, hills and lots of rocks.
This will put any shoes wear to the test.

I first applied this shoe to a school horse that has very short upright
pasterns. As we all know this conformation can create bonny type lamenesses
which Wizard has. He has been on off lame for a few years now. Working with a
Veterinarian and his owner this horse was up for retirement from her riding
program this spring. I suggested we try the Stealth Shoe.

We were pleasantly surprised that this horse has been sound. He has to go
up very steep rocky hill to get to pasture to join the herd. After six weeks the
rubber on the shoe has stayed intact and the shoes are on their first reset.

Another farrier in NJ has reported back that his barrel horse, diagnosed with
Navicular syndrome, has been doing Great with this shoe.
Not 100% but
much better than with conventional shoes. Hopefully I will get a follow up on that
horse.

Last week an older thoroughbred  was to be put down with ring bone. Again
we applied the Stealth as a last ditch effort to help alleviate some of her pain.
She seems to be doing much better . We will give her a little more time and
see if this makes her a little more comfortable
.

Just reset a pair on a Quarter horse that is a pleasure horse. His main use is
for trail riding on the mountain. Again very rocky and steep. He usually wears
through steel in two settings and the Stealth is on the second setting now.
Pretty impressive for a rubber/aluminum shoe.

I am not saying this shoe will fix any problem but it is helping to manage
some of the discomfort in a few of my clients horses.

I am anxious to try this shoe on more of my "on off lame " horses.

Thank you Stealth
